Chetan Bhagat'slatest novel isn't about a revolution, as the title suggests. It's the tale of an unrequited love triangle that takes place in Varanasi's engineering entrance exam. The love story is set on Varanasi's holy ghats. It is not as fast like the River that flows through one of the busiest temple cities. It is the backdrop to 'Revolution 2020. It's a story about the best of childhood friends Raghav, Gopal and Aarti who are struggling to find love and happiness.

Gopal, the son retired teacher, stricken with litigationand financial debt was likely to go head-first into the arms of the daughter of the District Magistrate's daughter the day he stole a piece of her chocolate cake for lunch. The unfortunate incident was the catalyst for the friendship that began in the fifth grade slowly took root with the Ganga.

It was a time of many boat trips and incomprehensible love songs. Aarti, Aarti's daughter, is honest but does not avoid looking away when shady deals occur. Raghav will be the third member of the trio and is the highly intelligentboy from the village who many believe will bring glory to the town of a small size. Raghav has already completed the JEE which is one of the Holy Grail for examinations. Bhagat is trying to think about the private education system in India that is often the only option for students in small towns. Bhagat provides a glimpse into the admissions exam coaching system.

This is a stark example of what it looks like for students who journey to the far reaches of India to follow the brutally-designed course to get rid of the weakest. Bhagat's description and idea of a revolution led by people are not just simplistic, but is also insufficient. The reader has to wonder until the very end of the book what the essence of the revolution will be, if it happens. In lieu of being restricted to just a handful of chapters towards the end, Revolution 2020 deserves more time and more indulgence.

Revolution 2020 isn't the primary concept of the novel, therefore the title could have been any other. The average reader is likely to expect more ground-breaking content than the same story about a girl who is sprinkled with corruption.

UTV Motion Pictures has purchased the rights to Chetan Bhagat's latest bestseller, Revolution 2020. Siddharth Kapur, the director of UTV Motion Pictures told us, "We have been in talks with Chetan for some time to do something together." We completed the book in one sitting when he shared it with us, even though it had never been published.

Revolution 2020 tells the story of three central characters, Raghav, Gopal and Aarti who's fates are intertwined. Kapur has written a compelling story with so many characters well-defined that it is always unclear how the story will turn out. Kapur declares that the issues he addresses are ones that teens today can identify with.

3 Idiots The film, which was starring Aamir Khan and produced by UTV Motion Pictures, was the highest-grossing Indian film ever made.

UTV apparently plans to hire the services of three Bollywood A-list actors for the lead roles in Raghav, Raghav and Aarti. However, they haven't yet commented on their intentions.

Bhagat states, "UTV finally managed me to seduce." It was a thrilling tale with an amazing team that gave me hope that they would accomplish Revolution 2020 justice.
